Serving Temecula
Screens for Temecula homes, from Old Town to wine country
Wine country begins a short drive east of Old Town on Rancho California Road, where the city counts more than two dozen wineries. Between the two, a lot of Temecula homes keep their doors and windows open, and screens take the wear. Sliders get dragged along their tracks, mesh gets sun-baked, and pets scratch what they can reach.
Chris from Serene Mobile Screen drives to Temecula with his workshop in the van. He measures your openings, re-screens frames that are in good shape, builds a new frame when one is bent or worn, and fits the screen on the spot. There is no shop to drop off at, whether it is one torn slider screen or a whole house of windows. Send us a text with what needs fixing, and Chris tells you the screen type and the cost before he starts.
Local reasons
Why Temecula homes ask for solar and pet screens
Three things about Temecula, and what each one means for the screens on your house.
The fact
Temecula had 19,099 housing units in 2000, 34,004 in 2010 (up 78 percent) and 36,550 in 2020.

A town that grew fast
Many Temecula homes went up in the same short stretch, so a lot of screens have seen the same years of sun and daily use. Worn mesh and bent frames are common, and Chris re-screens or rebuilds them at your door.
The fact
When temperatures climb high enough, the City of Temecula opens a cool center at the Mary Phillips Senior Center on weekdays.

Sun on the glass
Summers here run hot and dry, and a slider that faces the afternoon sun takes the brunt. A solar style screen adds shade and softens glare, and you still see out and keep the breeze.
The fact
The city counts more than two dozen wineries and more than 3,500 acres of producing vineyards in the valley.

Patios, pets and open doors
Wherever a patio door stays open and a pet uses it, the screen takes a beating. Pet resistant mesh is thicker than the regular screen, and Chris can recreate an odd-size door screen after pet damage.

Temecula screen repair questions
Short answers to what Temecula homeowners ask. For anything else, send us a text.
Do you repair and replace screens in Temecula, CA?
Yes. Chris is based in Lake Elsinore and drives his mobile workshop to homes in Temecula. He re-screens frames that are in good shape, builds a new frame when one is bent or worn, and fits the screen at your door. Hours are Monday to Saturday, 9 am to 5 pm. Send us a text to check that your address is in range.
Which screen works for a sunny Temecula slider?
A solar style screen, also called a UV blocking screen. The mesh is denser than a regular screen, so it adds shade and softens glare on the side of the house that gets the most sun, and you still see out and get the breeze. Summers here are hot and dry, so sunny sliders and living room windows are where it helps most.
Can Chris come to homes out toward wine country?
Temecula is on Chris's service list, and his mobile workshop travels with him. Wine country begins a short drive east of Old Town on Rancho California Road. If your home is out that way, send us a text with your neighborhood, and Chris will confirm he can get there and let you know when he has an opening.
My dog damaged our patio screen. What are my options?
A pet resistant screen uses mesh thicker than the regular screen, which suits a door where a dog or cat goes in and out. Chris can also recreate a non-standard size screen door after pet damage. He checks the frame when he measures, so you know whether a re-screen or a new frame is the right fix.
How much does screen repair cost in Temecula?
The price follows the number and size of your openings, the screen type, and whether the old frame can be saved or needs replacing. A big slider costs differently from a small window. Chris gives you the screen type and the cost before he starts, so there are no surprises when the work begins.
